The Senior Accounts Officer is responsible for the purchasing, payables, receivables, payroll and general ledger functions for the Ministry. This role supervises the processing of all payments and journals emanating from departments within the Ministry, ensuring compliance with Financial Instructions and CODE of Practice, and provides accounting support across all departments.

Requirements

Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience, including one (1) year's supervisory experience. Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent discipline—alternatively, five (5) years relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Previous experience using the JDE (Enterprise One) System is an asset.

$82144.97 per year
