Under the supervision of the Director of Environment & Natural Resources, the Environmental Engineer administers the Clean Air Act 1991 and the Water Resources Act to protect Bermuda's environment, evaluates environmental impact assessments, manages pollution control operations, and conducts compliance audits. The engineer also develops policies, provides technical guidance, and oversees environmental monitoring and research.

Requirements

A Master's Degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering or in a related field and at least five (5) years' post-qualification experience in water and air pollution control, waste disposal, and remediation of contaminated sites. Must be registered as a professional engineer in an internationally accredited Professional Engineering Body or Association.
