The post-holder performs a wide range of tasks related to the servicing, repair, and maintenance of tyres and components in DPT vehicles and equipment. Work under the direction of the Supervisory Craft Foreman with some degree of autonomy, conducting first-line servicing in accordance with manufacturer's specifications and DPT standards. Execute repairs and replacements of tire components as necessary, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and reports, collaborating with team members to optimize workflow and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements

Minimum of two years experience in the automotive or similar field and proven experience in tyre maintenance and repair, preferably in a similar industrial or transportation setting. Must possess a Bermuda Driver's License and have Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification preferred. Must have excellent timekeeping and the ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. The role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, as well as the capability to lift and reach while performing duties.
