Our client, RGA Global Reinsurance, is looking for an Advanced Paralegal for their Bermuda office. This Bermuda-based Paralegal provides legal, governance, and regulatory support to RGA's Bermuda operations. The role is focused on board and committee reporting, being a liaison with the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), assisting with compliance initiatives, and providing direct support to the Chief Legal Counsel and the Head of Compliance. The position also includes executive support responsibilities to the Chief Legal Counsel to enable efficient execution of legal and regulatory priorities. This role would report to the Head of Compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Law, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; or equivalent experience required. 5+ Years of relevant experience in a legal, compliance, or regulatory environment required. Experience within insurance, reinsurance, or financial services (preference for Bermuda - regulated entities) required. Demonstrated experience supporting compliance monitoring, regulatory reporting, or corporate governance processes required. Experience supporting board reporting and/or regulator interaction preferred. Bermudian status or right to work in Bermuda preferred. Paralegal certification or relevant legal qualification preferred. Working towards or interest in professional certifications (e.g., ICA, ACAMS, or equivalent) is advantageous preferred.
