Works under the direction of the Deputy Director (Administration) and in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, to provide administrative duties to support the operations of the Administration Section of Department of Public Prosecutions. The Postholder also performs secretarial and clerical duties on behalf of the professional officers as well as inputs data into the computer system. The Administrative Assistant (Administration) also performs additional duties, as assigned by the Deputy Director (Administration). The Administrative Assistant (Administration) makes routine minor decisions concerning administrative issues within established policies, procedures and guidelines.

Requirements

The Postholder must have a minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in a legal or law office environment, undertaking administrative and secretarial duties at a senior level. Must have successfully completed the BSC or equivalent, together with an ILEX Certificate in Legal Secretaries or Certificate for Office Assistant, or equivalent.

$69090.16 per year
