Accountable to the Mechanical Superintendent, Supervisory/ Working Craft Foreman, Senior Tradesman. The post holder must be able to carry out under supervision any task associated with servicing, maintenance and repair of transport plant equipment to the manufacturer's and Department's specifications and within reasonable time limits.

Requirements

Possess good communication skills to allow for good verbal and written instructions to be received. A basic knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act. A basic knowledge of all mechanical tools, equipment and terminology. Recognized apprenticeship plus one year practical experience or five years experience in trade without apprenticeship. Automotive Service Excellence, City and Guilds, Red Seal certification or equivalent. Valid NTB certification.

Salary

$35.06 per hour
