Works under the direction of the Commissioner of Education, in accordance with the established ministerial policies and procedures, to provide academic, administrative and fiscal leadership through the implementation of innovative and quality educational programmes and activities to students in accordance with the priorities and policies of the Ministry of Education. The director will manage the Department of Academic Services, oversee curriculum and assessment, student services, early childhood education, school improvement, and provide professional support to the Commissioner of Education. Additionally, responsible for financial and human resource management, and liaison and public relations duties to communicate the Department's educational and support services effectively.

Requirements

A minimum of ten (10) years' relevant experience including five (5) years experience at a senior executive management level or equivalent experience. Postholder must possess a Master's Degree or equivalent in Educational Administration or professional designation and registration with a professional body.
