The post holder is responsible for providing assessment, treatment interventions and case management services with a more clinical focus in mental health and/or addictions. The post is also involved in development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of new initiatives and projects to assist clients in realizing goals related to treatment and rehabilitation. The post holder liaises with various internal and external parties and stakeholders within the community to provide advice on the programmes and services offered by the Department and share best practices.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years' experience in direct services, enforcement, behavioral management, and/or conducting clinical assessments on offenders in mental health settings. The experience must include at least two (2) years of implementing relevant programs and services. A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field of study is required. Certification in group work, mental health, or substance abuse treatment and/or services is also required. In lieu of a Master's Degree, consideration may be given to applicants with a Bachelor's degree, relevant certifications, and at least ten (10) years working directly with offenders.
