Works under the general direction of the Director of Social Insurance to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Director and other members of the Senior Management team, ensuring the effective development of strategic initiatives and efficient operations of the Department of Social Insurance (DOSI). The post holder ensures timely processing of vendor payments and utilities, processing of journal entries, maintaining accounts payable, assisting in budget preparation, maintaining staff personnel records, and coordinating payroll processes. Responsibilities also include liaising with building supervisors for office maintenance needs and delivering services with high confidentiality to maximize department efficiencies.

Requirements

Minimum three (3) years' experience in senior administrative duties, including budgeting and accounting work in a computerized environment. An Associate's Degree in Business Administration or related discipline is preferred, but candidates with five (5) years relevant experience may also be considered.
