Under the direction of the Clinical Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of safe patient care as well as maintaining operational aspects of patient care in collaboration with other service areas. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with clinical and operational policies, supervising staff including performance appraisals, making regular unit rounds, participating in admissions, discharges and transfers, and collaborating with other managers to resolve departmental issues.

Requirements

Bachelor Science Degree Nursing (BSN) or Registered Mental Health (RMN) with three years management experience either in a supervisory or functional area; Advanced Nursing Certification in Mental Health is preferred; Current licensure and registration as required by the Bermuda Nurses Council and Allied Health Council; Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory.
