Bermuda Security Group Limited (BSG) is seeking a talented professional to join our Finance team, reporting to the Finance Accountant, working closely with the Finance and Operations departments, suppliers and manufactures to maintain strong financial controls and accurate financial records. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of Bermuda Security Group Limited, with primary ownership of Accounts Payable, Inventory Control Cycle Management, Purchasing Controls, and related financial administration.

A key component of the role is management and financial control of the inventory cycle, from purchasing and receiving through storage, allocation, usage, transfer, return, reconciliation, and reporting.

This position is responsible for accurate recording, reporting and authorizations of supplier transactions and inventory movements in accordance with BSG’s policies and procedures and requires the ability to proactively identify discrepancies and control weaknesses, investigate their causes, and ensure corrective action is taken.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable

Process and reconcile supplier invoices, verification, validation, and reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts; management and presentation of accounts payable reports; engagement with suppliers and maintenance of supplier relationships

• Data Entry and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, enter financial data into accounting systems, and organize financial documentation for efficient retrieval.

• Reporting

Produce financial reports, and compile accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries to support management decision-making.

• Inventory Management and Reporting

Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct stock counts and reconciliations, monitor replenishment needs, verify deliveries, and provide inventory data for financial reporting.

• Administrative Support and Coordination with Other Departments

Respond to Finance enquiries, maintain financial records and documentation, support ad hoc Finance activities, resolve inventory discrepancies, and perform other duties assigned by the Head of Finance or Designate to support the success of the Finance Department and the Company.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma, Associate’s Degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline
• Previous successful experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Inventory Control, or a similar Finance role
• Experience in managing or supporting an inventory cycle
• Experience with computerized accounting, inventory, or ERP systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite- particularly Excel
