Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller will oversee financial operations for our medical software development company, managing complex requirements across multiple legal business entities. This key role will support a global workforce and international contractors, ensuring seamless financial and payroll operations while driving process improvements, compliance, and operational efficiency across multiple jurisdictions. The Controller will spearhead the continuous improvement of existing QBO processes and HubSpot CRM integrations while providing daily leadership, management, and mentor-ship to the current finance team to foster a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement.

Requirements

CPA or equivalent professional accounting designation is required. A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related subject from an accredited University. 5+ years of progressive financial leadership experience with proven success managing and developing a team. Proven hands-on experience successfully managing an enterprise-level financial system. Strong working knowledge of multi-entity, multi-currency financial consolidations. Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite; with a propensity for learning new technology and software systems (Experience with HubSpot is advantageous). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Effective time management, planning and administrative skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities with a strong emphasis on listening, presenting, and facilitation.
