The post holder is accountable for providing high standards of Physiotherapy care within the Community Rehabilitation Program. The post holder should be familiar with each of the clinical areas listed and must have specialty skills in at least one of the clinical areas. The area of clinical responsibility may change depending on the service needs and as directed by the Coordinator of Occupational & Physiotherapy Services. The post holder is accountable for offering a broad range of services to support people in managing motor and functional impairments. Physiotherapists will determine the need for intervention following an assessment, its outcomes and consideration of any associated diagnosis.
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years' relevant postgraduate experience working with a variety of therapeutic approaches. Most possess a Master's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent. Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Bermuda Council For Allied Health Professions (CAHP) and have valid CPR certification. Additional consideration for those with a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and possess five (5) years' post graduate experience.
