The post is accountable for providing a range of executive administrative, secretarial and support services to the Minister and the Permanent Secretary to enable them to discharge their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner. The postholder will serve as recording secretary for various Board meetings and Hearings; and perform any other associated duties as required in an efficient and effective manner.

Requirements

A minimum of five (5) years post qualification experience undertaking senior secretarial duties in a multi-faceted office environment is required. Minimum Education Qualifications: A Certificate for Office Assistants, a Diploma or recognized Secretarial Course of two year's duration or the equivalent. Consideration will be given to persons who do not possess the minimum educational qualifications but who possess a minimum of seven (7) years' post-qualification experience in the relevant field.
