Works under the direction of the Director of Court Services to manage and administer the delivery of case management programmes in accordance with the relevant legislation, policies and procedures for the Department. The Manager is also responsible for managing and administering the operations of the Case Management Unit and for providing advice to clients and the public, and promoting the aims of the programmes. Further, the post holder performs other duties associated with the delivery of case management programmes as directed by the Director.

Requirements

The post requires a minimum of eight (8) year's post qualification experience, in dealing with offender or offence specific populations, including three (3) years managerial experience. The postholder must possess a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice or a related field, and/or display specialized skills in working with offender groups. The Manager must be able to respond to the Orders of the Courts, Parole Board and Treatment of Offenders Board to reduce the level of recidivism. Sound knowledge of working with offenders, thorough managerial and leadership skills, proven ability to develop and administer a budget, and excellent communication skills are necessary.
