The Clinical Manager directs oncology operations by providing expert patient care and chemotherapy, leading multidisciplinary tumor boards, and managing departmental staff and statistics to meet strategic organizational goals. BHB ensures the highest in quality health care through service excellence, education and leadership. We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment. The position will require the post holder to provide direct patient care including chemotherapy and patient assessment, coordinate multi-disciplinary meetings, e.g. tumour board, collect and prepare department statistics. The post holder will direct all staff in their daily duties as well as liaise with other healthcare professionals and organizations.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution. Master’s Candidate (MSN), preferred. Current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council. Post graduate certification in a specialty (Oncology nursing) would be an asset. Minimum Five years management experience (either in a supervisory or functional area). Minimum of 2 years in Oncology/Chemotherapy experience. Diploma in Supervisory Management or other Management certification will be an asset. Current ACLS, CPR registration and I.V. Therapy Certification.
