The post holder is accountable for the delivery of clinical, personal, and social care to elders in the various programmes at the facility. Responsible for the management and supervision of a team of nursing associates during assigned shifts. Provides nursing care to the residents of a skilled care facility, enabling them to maintain a quality life within the limits of their illness and/or aging process.
Requirements
The post holder must possess a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent and be a Registered Nurse. Must have at least three years relevant experience in Long-Term care/Geriatric Nursing Care in a residential care or nursing care facility setting, along with management skills and previous experience in nursing administration. Must be registered or eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing and Midwifery Council and have current CPR certification. Alternative qualifications may be considered for those with an Associates Degree in Nursing and five years relevant experience.
