Applications are invited for the post of Police Constable within the Bermuda Police Service (BPS). The BPS has several opportunities for applicants who are looking for a career in law enforcement, to represent the community, and assist in 'Making Bermuda Safer.' Successful applicants must pass evaluations for the Recruit Foundation Course (RFC), which lasts for six months with on the job training, academic modules, and practical exercises. This coincides with serving as a Student Police Officer, involving active frontline duties.

Requirements

Must have a Bermuda School Certificate (BSC) or equivalent. Must be between the ages of 18 and 49 years at the start of the contract. Should be in good physical and mental health. Non-Bermudian applicants must have been ordinarily resident in Bermuda for a minimum of 3 years. Proficiency in English is required. Must pass PIRT, fitness test (Level 5.4 - 15 metre beep test), security checks, suitability testing, psychological evaluations, medical exams (including BMI), and an assessment board.
