The Laboratory Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the technical and operational oversight of laboratory services to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality results are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. This position assists in the implementation of laboratory policies, procedures, and quality systems aligned with organizational goals, patient safety requirements, and service excellence standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (Bermuda) or eligible for registration. Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology International (ASCPi) is required or strongly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Supervisory or Management Certificate or willingness to obtain within a specified period.
