The Laboratory Assistant Manager (Bermuda) is responsible for supporting the technical and operational oversight of laboratory services to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality results are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. The Laboratory Assistant Manager works closely with the Laboratory Manager and/or Laboratory Director to coordinate daily laboratory operations, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field. Must be registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (Bermuda) or eligible for registration. Certification by the American Society for Clinical Pathology International (ASCPi) is required or strongly preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical laboratory experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or leadership capacity. Demonstrated experience in laboratory operations, quality management, and staff supervision. Supervisory or Management Certificate or willingness to obtain within a specified period.
