
Works under the supervision of the Relationship Coordinator and provides support to Financial Assistance Officers and Social Workers. The post holder is accountable for the provision of intake/support services to ensure the smooth processing of applicants for financial assistance, including collecting and screening case information and documents; provides applicants with information about the service and records same on paper and electronic files. The post also performs clerical and receptionist duties to enable officers to discharge their duties and responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner. This post has limited autonomy within established departmental procedures and guidelines in relation to routine clerical decisions when performing intake/support functions such as dealing with enquiries and making assessments to determine urgency of cases.

Minimum experience required: three (3) years relevant experience in a similar office environment setting. Minimum education qualifications: Bermuda School Diploma (BSD) or equivalent and a secretarial certificate or equivalent of one (1) year's duration; proficiency in the use of computers and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
