The Senior Buyer / Inventory Control is responsible for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the computerized item master file across Brown & Co. & 59 Front, including costing, purchasing, vendor accounts, and perpetual inventory systems. This role operates within a fast-paced, high-productivity retail environment, requiring precision, accountability, and strong cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities include ensuring strict adherence to data entry protocols, overseeing container costing, supporting inventory counts, partnering with Department Managers, maintaining accurate vendor cost and retail pricing, and providing direction to Data Entry Clerks.

Requirements

Associate degree and/or a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar retail or inventory-focused role; Strong working knowledge of customs clearance, shipping processes, and landed costing; Demonstrated organizational and analytical capability; High proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems; Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail; Solid understanding of inventory control methodologies and retail systems; Ability to thrive in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment; Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively; Strong work ethic with flexibility to support extended hours as required.
