The People and Culture Administrative Specialist provides essential administrative support to the People and Culture Department ensuring the efficient delivery of HR processes including recruitment coordination, completion of work permit applications, and coordination of training activities. Additionally, persons in this position are responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, onboarding new employees, helping to ensure compliance with company policies, employment legislation, and performing payroll duties as needed.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisational Development, or a related field; Master's degree or professional HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, CIPD, PHR, SPHR) is an asset; Strong understanding of the Employment Act 2000; Experience in recruitment and work permit applications; Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience administering payroll; At least 3 years of current HR experience.
