The Circulation and Collection Management Librarian works under the direction of the Library Director to manage the operations of the Circulation, Reference and Collection Management Section of the Library. Key responsibilities include cataloguing, classification, customer service, and supervising the library's study spaces and student workers. The role involves consulting with faculty to develop the collection in support of the course curriculum and managing special collections such as the Rare Book Room and Archives.

Requirements

Master's Degree or equivalent in Library and Information Science from an accredited university. Knowledge of electronic databases and interest in Bermuda's socio-economics and history. Minimum three (3) years' relevant post-qualification experience in a similar position. Experience supervising staff and experience with an integrated library management system. Must be flexible to work on weekends and in the evenings.
