As the Head of Excess Casualty – Bermuda, you will lead the AXA XL Bermuda Excess Casualty Underwriting unit, be responsible for developing and executing on the strategy for this product, while working with the region’s other underwriting business leaders and partners, and our Global Underwriting Office. This role has full P&L responsibility and reports directly to the CUO – Bermuda, as part of the Leadership team in the Bermuda Region. The Head of Excess Casualty will oversee underwriting activities, drive strategic initiatives, manage underwriting performance, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Requirements

Robust knowledge of the Bermuda excess casualty insurance industry, combined with in-depth technical knowledge of excess casualty insurance product offerings. Exemplary behaviors that demonstrate commitment to corporate values. Ability to lead a team, proven business acumen, and ability to manage complex relationships. Sound understanding of financial planning, analysis, and reporting approaches. Successful track record of profitable growth.
