Works under the direction of the Deputy Director and Ministry Controller responsible for financial management, compliance, reporting, administration, and management of resources associated with accounting personnel. Responsible for strategic financial planning, monitoring compliance, budgeting processes, and delivering financial information for decision-making. The position requires the ability to approve invoice payments and oversight of client payments, guided by departmental guidelines including Financial Assistance Act.

Requirements

The post-holder must be a professionally qualified Accountant, a member of an internationally recognized professional body, with a minimum of five (5) years' post qualification experience and at least 3 years in management and supervisory experience. Additionally, possession of an MBA will be an asset.
