Kuvare Services Bermuda Ltd. (“KSB”), a Bermuda-based service provider to affiliated and regulated Bermuda-domiciled long-term reinsurers, is seeking an Actuarial Associate to support KSB’s continued growth. As a member of the actuarial team (currently a team of 10), the successful candidate will contribute to delivering well-explained, accurate and timely analysis supporting financial and regulatory reporting within KSB. Working in our Bermuda office and interacting with the risk, finance and investment teams, the opportunity offers exposure to the growing asset-intensive life and annuity business in an evolving reinsurance framework. The actuarial team performs numerous tasks for valuation, investment modeling, inforce management, capital and business planning, and risk. The Actuarial Associate will own critical deliverables within specific workstreams as well as gaining broader exposure to the business through review and validation of other actuarial activities that are scheduled throughout the year.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Risk Management or similar. ASA designation or equivalent demonstrating strong exam progression. Pursuing further relevant qualifications, e.g. CFA, is supported. Demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant actuarial experience, working directly for a life/annuity (re)insurance company or consulting organization.
