The Bermuda Monetary Authority is seeking a Senior Officer to work in our Supervision (Insurance, Funds and Corporate Authorisations) Department. Reporting to the Assistant Director, the Senior Officer will be responsible for assisting in providing insights on regulatory matters involving international standard-setting bodies and other regulators to support the Authority's overall strategic plans. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal stakeholders to lead the review and analysis of documentation from international standard-setting bodies, supporting the International Affairs Committee, providing policy and analytical support for IAIS and NAIC work, and monitoring insurance industry trends and regulatory regimes.

Requirements

A master's degree or equivalent qualification in finance or accounting from a recognised institution or professional body; A minimum of seven (7) years' relevant work experience, of which at least three (3) years should be at a senior level working within a regulated financial services sector and/or at a financial services regulator; Experience working on projects relating to IAIS, NAIC and/or EIOPA; Demonstrated history of project management experience; Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills; Familiarity with Bermuda, US, EU, UK and other international regulatory environments; Experience operating in an international environment.
