Conduit Re is seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Ceded Reinsurance Manager to support the development, execution, and optimisation of Conduit Re’s outward reinsurance strategy. Reporting to the Head of Ceded, the role will work closely with underwriting leadership and key business functions to support portfolio optimisation, business planning, exposure management, and reinsurance purchasing activities across the organisation. This role offers broad exposure across the underwriting portfolio and significant interaction with underwriting, actuarial, catastrophe analytics, exposure management, risk management, claims, Legal, brokers, reinsurers, and third-party capital providers.

Requirements

Professional qualifications such as ACII or equivalent industry certifications are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years’ underwriting, ceded reinsurance, or broking experience within the (re)insurance industry. Proven experience within underwriting, ceded reinsurance, or broking roles in the global (re)insurance market. Strong knowledge of global reinsurance markets, products, contract structures, and placement practices. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies, risk structuring, portfolio management, and aggregation monitoring principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
