L&G Reinsurance, a Bermuda-based specialist life reinsurer, is seeking a Capital Management Actuary to play an important role in supporting L&G’s business strategy. Reporting to the Chief Actuary, this role offers the opportunity to work across multiple entities and gain in-depth knowledge and experience in various products and regulatory frameworks. The role involves managing regulatory balance sheets, monitoring solvency resilience, and providing insights into capital efficiency for strategic initiatives and new business opportunities.
Requirements
Recently qualified Life Actuary, with experience in UK, US, European, and/or Canadian pension risk transfer business preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand, apply, interpret, and effectively communicate technical aspects of complex financial and business transaction information. Proven track record of designing and implementing efficient, robust, and effective actuarial processes with appropriate controls. Strong commercial awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic, market, and regulatory environment. Excellent relationship management skills.
