The Bermuda Monetary Authority is seeking a skilled individual to work as a Senior Officer as part of our International Affairs Team in our Supervision (Insurance, Funds and Corporate Authorisations) Department. The role involves coordinating and providing insights into regulatory and international organisational bodies, contributing to the development and implementation of plans to integrate sustainability and climate change risk in regulation, and representing the BMA at international standard-setting bodies like the IAIS.

Requirements

A master's degree or equivalent qualification in economics, sustainability, risk management, political science, law or business administration. Minimum of seven (7) years' relevant experience, preferably within the insurance industry or financial regulator, including three (3) years at a senior level. In-depth knowledge of environmental issues, climate change risk, and international policy developments. Robust influencing and engagement ability with strong communication skills.
