Under the direction of the Land Title Mapping Officer processes daily land title registrations, handles inquiries from the public and gathers data and maintains the Land Registry database. Responsible for making technical decisions when processing land registration applications requisite with level of knowledge and experience. Duties include assisting in obtaining and reporting legal and mapping information, resolving casework problems, giving technical advice, facilitating service delivery, assessing and accepting documents for land registration, maintaining quality, and supervising temporary staff.
Requirements
Must have three years relevant experience in an operational Land Registry Office; Bachelor's Degree in Law, Land Surveying, Estate Management, Land Economy, GIS or related degree; Level 3 certificate in Land Law and Level 3 in Conveyancing under the Chartered Institute of Legal Executive; or six years diverse experience in an operational Land Registry Office if educational requirements are not met. Must demonstrate people management, problem solving, communication and customer service skills.
