The post holder is accountable for the delivery of clinical, personal, and social care to elders in the various programmes at the facility. Directly responsible for the management and supervision of a team of nursing associates during assigned shifts. Provides nursing care to residents of a skilled care facility or nursing home, enabling them to maintain a quality life.
Requirements
Minimum three years relevant experience in Long-Term care/Geriatric Nursing Care in a residential care or nursing facility setting. Management skills and previous experience in nursing administration. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent, Registered Nurse, registered or eligible for registration with the Bermuda Nursing and Midwifery Council, and current CPR certification. Applicants with an Associates Degree in Nursing and at least five years relevant experience will also be considered.
