The post holder ensures that Flight Crew operating Bermuda registered aircraft possess current Licence Certificates of Validation; all Aircraft Maintenance Engineers possess current Licence Certificates of Validation; and Air Traffic Control officers are appropriately licensed. Responsibilities include processing personnel licensing applications, performing background checks, issuing certificates, undertaking airspace approvals, and issuing flight permits. The role also involves administrative, secretarial, and clerical duties including document preparation and answering telephones.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree in aviation or business administration is an asset. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in a Regulatory Authority or aviation-focused organisation. Ability to complete Personnel Licensing and Airspace introduction training. Willingness to work beyond normal office hours and travel overseas for training.
