This post is accountable for performing a range of accounting duties in accordance with the Government's Financial Instructions and Ministerial policies and procedures. The Accounts Assistant also performs general administrative and clerical duties within the Section. The post holder makes basic decisions for daily functions and responsibilities, including vendor invoice submissions and purchase orders for local and foreign payments.

Requirements

A minimum of two (2) years' experience in a similar position, working in a computerized environment. Must have a Bermuda School Diploma (BSD) or equivalent, and possess a Certificate in Accounting or successfully completed courses in Accounting I and II or equivalent.

Salary

$62117.19 - 66210.02 per year
