The post holder works under the direction of the Senior Nursing Officer, assessing inmate's medical needs and ensures that they receive proper health care. This includes supervisory duties for full-time staff and relief nursing staff, as well as external service providers. The role requires providing general nursing services, administering medical care, and responding to medical emergencies, while maintaining proper documentation and compliance with health guidelines.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years work experience as an RN within a healthcare facility. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) and/or RMN may substitute for two years of required experience. Graduated from an accredited school of nursing with SRN, RN-Diploma, RN-BSN, or RN-RMN.
