The role will focus on pricing but will also include projects such as development and maintenance of reporting tools, portfolio management and modelling / account tracking tools. Key duties include providing pricing and deal analysis support, account performance monitoring, and production and update of policies. Lead regular and annual validation of models and provide actuarial support to underwriting teams and other Ascot Group areas.
Requirements
Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or another relevant numerate subject. ACAS, FCAS, ASA, FSA, AIA or FIA, or equivalent actuarial designation. Minimum of 5 years' pricing experience working within re/insurance, with significant experience and understanding of model development and validation within Specialty lines. High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA programming and PowerBI. Comfort with databases and proficiency in SQL.
