The AVP, Exposure Management is accountable for the day to day execution, monitoring, and reporting of catastrophe exposure, aggregation, and portfolio risk metrics across the Bermuda (re)insurance portfolios. Primary responsibilities include executing regular exposure monitoring, ensuring metrics reflect underwriting and portfolio composition, running catastrophe models, supporting deal-level and portfolio-level analysis, maintaining documentation for audits, and partnering with claims and underwriting teams.
Requirements
Strong technical capability in catastrophe modelling and exposure management within a (re)insurance context with at least 5 years experience in a similar role. Ability to interpret model outputs, exposure metrics, and portfolio sensitivities. Strong communication skills. Strong understanding of how exposure aggregates, diversification, and concentration affect portfolio risk. High levels of integrity and attention to detail.
