We seek qualified, highly motivated, and experienced professionals to work in a supportive but demanding environment. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring the delivery of an interdisciplinary, coordinated approach to patient care, including supervising Nursing, Administrative, and Hospital Services on evenings, nights, holidays and weekend shifts; Ensuring processes are adhered to which minimize clinical, operational, financial, and human resources risk to patients, visitors, employees, and the organization; Acting as hospital management liaison to all internal departments, community and external clinical partners as needed to facilitate patient care; Receiving sick calls, informing units and/or Managers of special staffing needs, evaluating, facilitating and resolving staffing variances in a fiscally responsible manner.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited programme (RN). Master’s degree preferred. At least three years or more of progressive management experience (either in a supervisory or functional area). Maintains current licensure and registration as required by the Bermuda Nurses Council. Pre-employment substance abuse screening is mandatory.
