The post holder manages a caseload of substance dependent clients/offenders and provides criminal addictive substance abuse treatment using best practice treatment modalities in an in-prison and aftercare setting under the direct supervision of the Programme Manager. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, facilitating groups, supervising clients in treatment interventions, conducting client intake and orientation, and documentation and case management. The role may also involve delivering substance related groups such as Drug Education to the wider corrections population.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Human Services, Clinical Psychology, Social Work or relevant field required. Minimum five (5) years post-graduate experience in a relevant clinical setting. Familiarity with the Twelve-Step Programme, Therapeutic Community Model, CBT, and related legislation. Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
