To carry out with minimal supervision any task associated with the construction, maintenance and repair of roadway and buildings as it relates to carpentry and joinery at a Class 2 level. Duties include formwork, 1st and 2nd fix items, millwork, and final touch-ups to ensure a quality product. Responsibilities include erecting formwork, installing timber structures, finishing work, assembling furniture, and ensuring adherence to specifications.

Requirements

Must have completed an appropriate apprenticeship in a construction related trade or equivalent. Must have achieved the relevant National Training Board Certification for Carpentry. A minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction after completion of the apprenticeship programme as a Junior Mechanic or equivalent experience.
