The post holder is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining disaster risk management plans, policies, procedures, and programs to reduce the effects of hazards to Bermuda. This includes providing policy support to public sector and community stakeholders, working with organizations to strengthen emergency preparedness plans, developing mitigation strategies, and promoting risk reduction initiatives.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Business, Public Administration, or a related field is required. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, candidates with seven (7) years of related experience in disaster mitigation and management may be considered. A minimum of five (5) years' relevant experience in a similar environment is also required.

$119083.32 per year
