Our client, SS&C Fund Services (Bermuda) Ltd, a division of SS&C GlobeOp, is looking for 2 Associate Directors. The roles involve coordinating the overall work plan of the accounting team, managing and monitoring work in progress for Fund and Reinsurance entities, and acting as the main contact person for clients. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving all work products prepared by accounting staff, including P&L, NAVs, economic allocations, and regulatory filings. The Associate Director will provide coaching and leadership to the client service team, value investment portfolios (equities, private equity, fixed income, futures, etc.), and process/reconcile all trading activity and corporate actions. The role also includes coordinating external audits, reviewing financial statements, and participating in client presentations and board meetings.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; CPA/CA/ACCA or equivalent accounting designation; 8+ years' recent post-qualified experience in Accounting or Back Office Operations working for a Fund Administrator, Investment Manager, or equivalent entity; 5+ years' experience managing a service team in the financial services industry; Prior experience servicing reinsurers, SACs/SPCs, hedge funds, M/F structures, private equity funds and ILS Funds; Deep understanding of securities types and Bermuda regulatory statutory filings; Working knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, partnership accounting; Experience in Advent Geneva accounting software is a distinct advantage.
