The Bermuda Monetary Authority (Authority or BMA) is seeking the services of a skilled and capable individual to work as a Senior Data Analyst in our Supervision (Anti-Money Laundering/Anti-Terrorist Financing) Department for a two-year contract. Reporting to the Principal, the Senior Data Analyst will undertake complex data analysis and contribute to the development, validation and enhancement of analytical models, data products and business intelligence solutions used to identify and assess AML/ATF risks, trends and emerging issues. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining data models, acquiring and analyzing multi-source datasets, undertaking model validation, developing BI solutions, and preparing analytical reports for various audiences.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics, modelling or BI development. Experience in financial services, regulation, risk, compliance or AML/ATF is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Excel. Knowledge of Python, R, automation, APIs or machine learning concepts is an advantage.
