Marshall Diel & Myers Limited is seeking a motivated Associate to join their Civil and Commercial Litigation & Advice team. The successful candidate will have a solid background in litigation and dispute resolution, including providing legal advice and representing clients in various civil and commercial legal matters. Key Responsibilities: Representing clients in litigation matters across a broad range of areas. Providing legal advice and support on various legal issues. Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents. Preparing and presenting cases in court and before tribunals. Collaborating with senior attorneys and legal team to develop case strategies. Maintaining comprehensive case files and documentation. Required Qualifications: Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years PQE and be admitted or eligible to practice at the Bermuda Bar. Candidates should have experience in civil and commercial litigation including insolvency and bankruptcy matters, trust disputes, employment disputes, property litigation, re(insurance) claims and/or personal injury claims. Candidates should, in particular, be able to demonstrate skills in Advocacy; Legal research and drafting; Research, analysis, and problem-solving; Written and verbal communication; Organization and efficiency; Proven client relationship and interpersonal skills; Working independently with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence; Excellent marketing skills; Contributions to legal articles and publications will be considered an additional asset; and A collegial and team-orientated approach to the practice of law.
