Ocorian is one of the largest providers of fund, corporate and private client services in the market. Working with the Bermuda Head of Country, the Head of Capital Markets and the Executive Committee, the successful candidate will provide team and client relations leadership for the capital markets service line, focusing on client accounting, insurance management and listings services. Responsibilities include financial and operational oversight, managing relationships for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Act as a primary point of contact with regulators, maintain strong internal controls, oversee quality and accuracy of deliverables, manage a portfolio of key client entities, lead and mentor team members, and support business development initiatives. Knowledge and skills required include a professional accounting designation, 7+ years’ experience, strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, Bermuda insurance industry experience, understanding of regulatory frameworks, and proven leadership abilities.

Requirements

Professional accounting designation (CA, ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent). 7+ years’ post-qualification experience including strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and related standards. Experience within the Bermuda insurance industry, knowledge of captives, reinsurance, and insurance-linked structures. Strong understanding of Bermuda regulatory frameworks, ability to review financial statements and statutory filings, leadership experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
