The Bermuda Maritime Academy (BMA) is a NOT FOR PROFIT Bermuda Company dedicated to facilitating the promotion, conservation, appreciation and protection of Bermuda’s marine environment and facilitating new marine careers and opportunities by creating relevant learning and opportunities. Applications are invited for a 6-month fixed-term contract for a Maritime Project Consultant to review organizational structure, deliver manpower recommendations, ensure operational protocols are synchronized with software and requirements, establish roles and KPIs, develop professional presentations, and support fundraising execution.

Requirements

University degree or equivalent management working experience; Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marine management position; Knowledge of III/IMO/MCA related policies and regulations; Demonstrated knowledge, understanding of required set up and utilization of marine equipment; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Highly organized with the ability to work autonomously and without direct supervision.
