The Clinical Educator for the Nursing Staff Development Department plans, develops, implements, evaluates and promotes patient, family, community and staff education for the assigned directorate. Key duties include establishing educational goals for Critical Care, assisting with staff competencies, organizing in-service education for new equipment, and acting as an expert clinical resource person. The role also involves assisting with direct patient care to maintain clinical skills and participating in health fairs.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's preferred). Minimum of five (5) years of critical care experience. Proven ability in developing/facilitating adult learning modules. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), & Safety Care Instructor Certification preferred. Proficient in Office Suite.
