The Education Officer designs, develops, and implements all curricula from preschool to senior school, conducts research on current curriculum and assessment practices, manages the design, development, and implementation of system-wide tests based on the local curricula, analyzes and interprets data from standardized and curriculum-based assessments, designs and presents systemic professional development based on best practices and data, advises site-based personnel and Ministry staff on matters related to curriculum and assessment, and liaises with other government departments and non-government organizations.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years teaching experience in Modern Foreign Languages and three (3) years administrative experience. A Master's degree in Foreign Language or equivalent, coursework in curriculum development, assessment, TESOL or administration, certification as a teacher, and registration with the Bermuda Education Council are required.
