Bermuda Life Center requires an experienced Biomed Technologist to manage, fault-troubleshoot and maintain a range of electro-medical and medical gas equipment. Key duties include carrying out repair, maintenance, calibration and acceptance testing; ensuring adherence to manufacturers' standards and safety checks; diagnosing faults and interpreting error codes; and providing technical advice to medical staff.

Requirements

At least 5 years' experience working in a hospital or private facility environment; At least 5 years' experience maintaining and servicing electro-medical and medical gas, including reverse osmosis water treatment systems; HNC or higher (or equivalent) in electronic engineering; Recognized certificate in medical equipment electrical safety testing; Knowledge and experience of medical systems, electronic medical records, and other standard and commonplace IT applications.
